Planning Supervisor and subsequently CDM Co-ordinator services for a series of major renovation projects over a period of 12 years of this Grade1 listed buiding, that resulted in complete restoration of this interesting example of a substantial medieval mote house. Services included review of activities by the ‘Time Team’ programme for their filming during the works,
and which was subsequently televised.
Bullers Wood House, Chislehurst
Fire upgrading works
Project design and administration, plus CDM services.
Implementation of urgent fire upgrading works to this Grade 2 Listed building that forms the administration centre of Bullers Wood School. Work had to be organised to minimise impact on the continued operation of the building, that was subject to heavy use. Listed Building consent, as well as Building Control / fire officer approval was negotiated, utilising fire protective finishes
and discreet smoke seals on historic doors.
St John the Baptist Church, Egham, Surrey
Roofing and stonework repairs
CDM services
Renovation of the exterior included extensive access and protection scaffolding and arrangements to bring this interesting more recent and very active church into good condition.
